Default need help deciding on new rearend!!!

ever since i bought my car a couple months ago, ive had a major grinding/dragging noise coming from the rear. after putting the car on the lift, we found that the pumpkin itself was untouchable bc it was so hot, yet there was plenty of fluid in it, and the fluid looked fine. there was also alot of play moving both wheels clockwise/counterclockwise (prolly about an inch worth) inside the rear. the thing is tho, the car drives fine, and doesnt make any clunks when pulling out or stopping or anything like that. im under the impression that i need a new rear (which i was planning on doing anyways) and was considering the 9 inch limited slip from moser. i still want my traction control (for now) but want something beefy enough for future upgrades. im not sure (nor do i know how to tell) which splines i have/need, and wanted to know if i can still use the factory driveshaft for now. help please???

You can still use your factory driveshaft.
