Got to the track last night for some shakedowns.....
Went to the new 1/8th mile track in Miami and I got a **** ton of runs in last night. Not the greatest track though and stay away from the right lane, at about 6000 rpm in 2nd all the sudden I blew the tires off and hit the rev limiter, was like wtf!!!! But anyways, on to the good stuff! The intake killed my low end bad, I can't even see 4000 on the tbrake anymore, only goes to maybe 3800 and it's coming out even doggier than ever, couldn't go better than a 1.75 60'!
Here's the good news though, it picked up big time in the high rpm range, you can really feel her start to move over 5000 rpm (which on spray i'll never be under!) and she now wants to pull to 7500, tried shifting at 7000 and she just wanted to go more, so I worked my way up to 7500 and that seems to be the sweet spot and I don't really wanna go over that anyways! So anyways, here it is, she went 100.8 mph but at only a 7.2 et cuz of the horrid 60'. She definately picked up mph wise, the only time I ever got close to that on motor with the old setup was one time it went 100.7 in 40 something degree weather and she had 26" tires on and 60' 1.60 and had 29 degrees of timing. I was on my 28's, and only 24.5 degrees of timing cuz I was being safe cuz of the added compression, she was smooth and strong, so i'm gonna try bumping that up to around 27 or so and see what happens if I can get out there again saturday. It was hot and humid as ****, normally in this weather and on the 28's with the old setup she went 98 - 99, so like I said, she definately picked up, and I have a feeling she'll pick up a lot more in the 1/4 than she is the 1/8th cuz of how doggie she is down low, wish Moroso was open so I could find out, but I will have to wait till I can get to BMP!

Thanks Coach, how's this for a decent bracket car, here's all the runs for the night (or at least all the slips I can find, I made 8 runs, can only find 5 slips):
7.304
7.309
7.280
7.270
7.259
She's fairly consistant. She slowly went faster as I was dialing things in like shiftpoint and so forth, the 7.28 and 7.27 were on the same settings, and same goes for the 7.30's, they were on the same setting as each other at that time.

good for you, sounds like she is working. i told you she would pick up.
now for out of the hole, what you need to do is a 2 step. set it around 3200 to start, let that converter flash and you will pick up in the short time
sounds like that converter however even with the 2 step probably wont go better then 1.5x or so. sounds to tight till you loosen her up with a little go go juice.
once you spray it, you will also pick up alot.

Definately!!! You can really feel it kick in at like 5000, almost feels like I hit a little shot! And she pulls hard from then on and definately wanted to go past my old shift point of 7000.

Awesome to see you get her going man.. I'm hoping to go Sunday if it doesn't R***!! Those intakes love the top end. I know that mine does. I only 60ft 1.6X with my tight converter and no bottom end power but I was 7.00 @ 102 with 25*s of timing and shifting at only 6700rpm. I'm hoping to go 6.70s with 28-29*s of timing and the new headers and exhaust setup also minus 100lbs..
Keep me posted on what your car does.. Especially when you spray it..

my car with the nitrous converter runs in the 1.6 off the brake. put the 2 step in at 3300 and she runs 1.4x now.
6.3x @ 107-110 in the 1/8
thats with 32* of timming
but i have more compression and more cubes.
3400 pounds
D, your car is also geared for 1/4 mile. if you geared it for 1/8 that 60 would get alot better

Just got off my buddy's dyno, it's a mustang dyno, so it reads a little lower than a dynojet and i'm very happy, and the powerband is right around where I thought!! The two runs are the difference between 24.5 degrees of timing and 26 degrees:
