Its a 1999 Camaro SS Convertible. The car is really clean. Its white with a white leather interior and white top. It is an automatic. Everything is factory on it except it has aftermarket torque thrust rims. The car looks pretty nasty. It has 117k on it. I can get it for around $8k. Whats everyone think??

Ill have to put a pic up. I figure that I can probably have some fun with it and when I'm ready to sell it at least break even on it. These cars arent losing value thats for sure. I'm going to go test drive it and make sure that the tranny and everything is sound. 120k is about all those trans are good for right?

I just test drove it a little while ago. It rides out perfect. I think it has some 373s or 410s because the speedo is way off. Idk, it might be because of the rims and the 315s tires?? But the tranny seemed strong and all the gauges looked great. They touched up a few spots on the car because of orange peel and it is a pretty bad match. I'll have to get that done eventually. The interior is really clean. The guy came down to $7,300. As of now, I'm convinced. Im going to run a carfax on it and take it to a shop tomorrow...

Here is an update to this thread.... I bought the car. Right after I bought it I ran a carfax. Turns out the car really has 160k on it. I called the dealer and he told me the title was branded TMU (true mileage unknown). He was apologetic and offered me my money back. I told him I still wanted the car but would like some compensation. I ended up getting the car with tax, tag, and title for $6,900. I drove it for awhile last night and everything seems great. It feels like there are gears in it, and I think the tranny is a little beefed up because it chirps second. So far im happy with it. The 160k worries me a little but oh well.
