Default 02 sensor?

well i installed my long tubes and it only had spots for two 02 sensors instead of 4. and i hear that the front two are supposed to go in. i didnt have any o2 extensions so i just unplugged the front two and i put the rear two in. do u think this would be robbing me of any power. the car runs fine. but i just wasnt sure and wanted some input.

If i read this correctly Im pretty sure that the front two are the ones you need. The rear two only check to see if the cats are working?

YOU have it BACKWARDS...plug in the fronts...the rears do f-all except tell your computer whether the cats are there/working...CHANGE THEM.

I'm going to agree with him. One of my 02 sensors is unplugged and my car is running great also.

ok leave it then. if u dont want to listen to anybody on the forum. if its not tuned then PUT EM BACK!!! yes the car can run in open loop, but it wont control any dramastic changes as in elevation or lean or rich so well.

I have my ls1 installed on a 240sx and I have no 02's, now I feel my car is very underpowered, but I got this idea because I can litterarly hear back fires in my headers as soon as they exit in the primaries... The reason i feel underpowered is because my car dosn't even spin first gear... and its on a very light car (240sx) but I'm using the 4l60e transmission... could the 02's be affecting me this much if I just read that some people are totally unaffected...
