Default Why does my car "sway" at WOT?

Alright guys, this primarily became a problem after I put the ET streets on. But when I launch all the way through 2nd, my car will not stay straight. It sways side to side considerably. I've adjusted the PHB so where it is off no more than an 1/8" measuring from the inside of the wheel well.

Here are the mods:
-10 bolt with weld in LCA relocation brackets, MAC cover, and welded tubes to housing.
-Lakewood non adjustable LCAs mounted to bottom mount of relocation bracket.
-Spohn adjustable PHB.
-Stock shocks, springs, and rear sway bar & mounts
-front sway bar removed.
-UMI tunnel mounted adjustable torque arm.
MT ET streets (26" on stock rim) at 25psi

I need subframe connectors, but what can I do to help this problem? I was thinking maybe adjustable LCAs and a full 4 wheel alignment? As it is now, it's scary. Please help. Thank you

It's probably because of the front sway bar removal along with all of the other suspension being stock. I'm not a drag racer, but I would guess going with a big rear bar and getting better shocks would help.

This doesn't mean I recommend using no swaybar on the front on the street.

They are fat tall tires with a soft sidewall, and
have to be expected to squirm a little. Try them at
15PSI for some real fun.

don't know about swaying but fishtailing is fun as shyt!!!

Are your relocation brackets perfectly square? If you point straight ahead and do a burnout, does your rear end head off to a side or does it track dead straight? If the rear isn't perfectly square, you're gonna head to a side.

+1

Soft sidewalls allow allot of movement. My Mustang on ET streets would sway all over the place.

Alright guys, it sounds good. Thank you for the responses. The problem did start when the tires were installed, but I wasn't sure because I had never actually felt all of first gear with the H/C/I.

So the problem wouldn't be as bad on 17" rims?

i would measure the wheels in the wheel well to make sure they are centered. When i put on the LCA relocation brackets they pulled my wheels to the rear more. so i had to adjust them back to center.

Its the nature of the tire soft side wall, you think they sway now try them at 14psi and make a full pass

ET street or Slick tires do this due to tire soft walls.
