its going to suck. i stopped going to the july race because every year it was either way to hot, or raining. this year looks like rain.
i do the september race every year tho, it is a good time. esp if you have never been.

be sure to bring a soft cooler full of beer, no glass, and bring a nice ass cushon and a poncho

not to rain on your optimism, but I stopped going after $10 beers, 50 year old gals flashing their bewbs at 180mph cars passing by, a guy that looked like Tommy Chong vomiting what looked to be several days meals two seats away from me, $30 parking a mile away and only seeing about 1/10th of the track, and those were pretty good seats. TV is better, imo, but I hope your experience is better than mine.

It's good to go and hear how loud it is in person, you can't experience that on TV.

You'll have fun, especially if you've never been before. Try to stand down by the fence, where they come off of turn 4 while they're practicing---it is pretty wild there. Also, the seats over by turn 3, up high, are my favorites. Coming down the straightaway into turn 3 is the fastest those cars go up there. Hopefully, the rain and thundershowers will hold off for you. Enjoy. WJ

If I want that sound, I just drop the SLP exhaust and crank my car...lol

They should switch one of the dates to the road course (just as they should for Pocono).
Now that would be interesting!! :D

Nice mods, I'll bet your car sounds great in full song. Now if you had 43 exact copies of your car running near redline you would be close to the sound at the track. :burn:

Nothing beats a hot sticky circle jerk, lol.

Keep your eyes peeled. You'll have more fun watching the people than the race. You'll see some new sights for sure.

i'm not a fan.
I have access to tickets from my family... connections to high powered businessman... but really... it's just not that enjoyable. Not for me at least. Now the tickets I had reserved for F1 last season... well... i was very sad that they didn't come back to America. lol

I just went to Dover, it was a good time. Walked in with 90 beers between 6 people, didnt spend to much $ Super speedways are much better IMO

The race was awsome. It was cloudy all morning no rain and about 70 or so. then about 2 or so it was nice and sunny out but not too hot. Then it decided to downpour about lap 260 or so. All in all great time
