Default getting retuned what shift points for 238/242??

Need some advice. cost me $50 everytime i see the tuner.

I just put a 238/242 xer .605/.610 112lsa cam in

Set up is 2004 gto ,afr 205's 59cc,.040 cometics,lt's,fast 90/90,3" duals out the back ,3500 stalh verter,I do have the afr upgrade spings and comp rockers push rods and guide plates

I am thinking 7k shift points and 7200 for the rev limit. but i could be wrong i just know it has no low end compared to my xer 232/234 cam

It may come back out but a fresh tune might do a lot.and then 3.90's in the rear and a restall to around 4200.

I don't want to go to high but also not to low just due to it cost every time i change it. I due have arp rod bolts ,slp pump, slp dual chain and gears.

any input would be great

7k shift point are pretty damn high...I would be scared to go that high...but that is a high operating range cam.

I wouldn't be afraid at all to shift it at 7k if you've got good rod bolts. Ideally you need to get it on a dyno to see what rpm your peaks are at so you know where the best shift point would be.
