i just swaped intake manifolds on my car. now my battery wont hold a charge. thought i had a bad battery so i just went to walmart and bought a new one. same thing is happening. I start the car and the battery just dies within two minutes. Whats wrong here. does the intake swap have anything to do with this??

did you undo a alternator connection or break one? Your car runs off the alternator after starting.

i dont see how.... isnt the alternator at the bottom of the motor? i was no where near that... im lost!

yes but once you start the car it runs on the alternator. Got all electrical connectors plugged in?

no thats not the problem.... the red wire on top of the alternator broke off. i dont know what to do or how to fix it. theres not enough wire for me to connect them back

you will need to get a pin puller and redo the pin then put it back into the connector.

ok great... it seems really tough to get the connector off. i dont really see how to get to it? if i can figure that out then i should be ok.
