A Couple of LS1Tech bracket racers almost post 2 wins on same night... NHRARacer (Kyle Hutto) and myself both have been running Gainesville Raceway this year. It's his first year so he's trying out true street (beginner class with a 12.00 dial in cap), and I've been beating on the Formula in footbrake.
We both made our respective finals at Gainesville last night but unfortunately came up short.
I was doing well with my last two runs before the finals of an .031 light and 8.526 on a 8.52 dial, then semi-final posting of .025 light and 8.512 on an 8.51. The car was hot so I figured she wouldn't get any faster for the final, thus I left my dial in alone. But after 'treeing my opponent .028 to .059 I took too much stripe for an 8.501 on the 8.51 dial and the loss. Oh well, the $200 check helped ease the pain somewhat

Thanks Derek! Yeah I came up short too but I already have 4 wins in 5 finals (Counting Saturday) in 8 races so Im doing alright. Leading points in both 1/8th mile and quarter mile as well.

Thanks guys. Florida definately gets her share of rain, and the forecast yesterday didn't look good and drizzle at the track pushed our schedule back a bunch. Still got done by 11:35 p.m. which I thought wasn't bad with my first round starting at 9:50 p.m.

Great job man! Man, I am glad you live there - You might take some of the money if you raced in TX with me!
