Paint & Body Work - Thinking of painting a Vette

I'm currently in the process of buying a Vette and I've found one priced very low but it's a hidious forest green. Changing the color is no problem (painted several cars) but I'd like to see what it would look like first.

Does anyone have or can use software that could change the color of a car if I had a pic of the car and a pic of the color I wanted. The car is a 2000 Vette and the color I'm thinking of is the Sunset Orange used on the 2000+ F bodies.

You have awful taste....Polo green is one of GM's best, most tasteful colors.

I remember I was on a website for a magazine, Hot Rod, I think....and I saw a "coming soon" picture in the lower right hand corner about a program coming soon to buy called virtual paint booth which did exactly what you said, only the program had a few cars for you to choose from, you didn't provide the car. But I didn't hear anything more about it, I searched and found 0 results or leads on it.

You've got something wrong with your head. That color looks bad enough on a F body. They should be banned from putting it on anything as beautiful as a convertible Vette.

The color is well known, mostly on c4's for being on of the best colors.

polo green on tan is a great color combo imho

i do like the green, but i think som would look pretty great. if i had photoshop iwould help u, but i dont anymore.

Just Remember to paint it what you want....it is your money so do what you want but I will say that SOM on a Vette= pure sex
