Does your gearing require that you put power down in 5th and 6th gears?

I think sixspeeds and/or D&D can help you with a new viper-spec trans and faceplated gears. My concern is the 1pc countershaft isn't available any longer, so the 5/6 is still a weak link..

I'd suggest trying to pick up an actual Viper/SRT10 T56 and send it to one of the sponsors for a GM conversion..

I will not be using 5 or 6 on the strip maybe @ maxton mile if i can go.. but 4th geear 1-1 with the 28" tires with 3.55 gears should be fast enough in the 1/4

Six Speeds Inc. is closed until after the 4th but I'd give them a call next week. I just put in one of their face plated 6 speeds and I could not be happier. It does take a little getting used to for street driving cuz it has no synchro's. Down shifting gets a little "sporty"...

I got the 4+ with a Viper input. Had some other stuff done also. Don't remember the exact price but I think it's on their website.

It is a great tranny and they are very helpfull... Give Amber a call next week, tell her I said hi. Or shoot me a PM if you like.
