Default Head Unit

I'm just wondering what are some good head units. Audio system is stock, minus a JL 10in sub in a stealth box. Any opinion?

I was thinking of this http://cartoys.com/Default.cfm/p/Alpine_CDE_9874/

I just bought a Alpine CDA-9884, the 2008 version of the one you posted. It matches the interior well and sounds great with the stock monsoon amp and speakers. Also comes with a free iPod cable.

The performance meters that are built into the head units on some models I wouldn't trust for accurate readings though.
The ones like the G-Tech Pro and some others seem ok but I just don't trust the ones built into a HU for an accurate measurement of performance.
That doesn't mean it isn't a neat toy though.

Mount? Do you mean the piece that fills in the blank spaces above and below the head unit?

Do you have a cd changer, and if so does it work with the head unit?
