LS1 vs LT1

LS1 vs LT1 I recently purchased a 56 Chevy project. The previous owner told me that the chassis was set up for a LT1 with 4L60. Now he tells me that he ment it was set up for an LS1. Ive already purchased the LT1. Will i need to change the motor mounts? What other changes will need to make? Thanks for any help.

It's relatively straight forward. It's just switching parts. But you need to give more info about how much is already done to the chassis to prepare for the LS1.
