Local dealership is looking for a parts guy, not quite sure I'm qualified but hopefully will be interviewing soon. Any experiance, tips, salary? Whatcha guys know? :chug:
the best parts guys know a little about cars and can get an idea of what a customer is looking for from some pretty vague descriptions
base salary + commish dumdumdum
good luck

yeah if you have the basics youll be fine. when i worked in parts alot of the people that came in alot and knew alot about cars already knew what they needed or wanted and they would teach me a few things along the way.

It is usually decent money. They will base your pay off experience though. If you work hard, you should have a few raises in no time.

LOL strange seeing a spammer on tech, usually i only see them on SSU
lol
if you get commish you just need to establish repeat customers and get your name out there
another perk is customers who call telling you they have a "94 formula GT with an LT4" and that "it's stock"
