Default Installing sound deadening in doors

I have some Brown Bread waiting to go in this weekend. Anyone ever installed this in their doors (in my case a 2000 Z28)? I'm wondering if you lined the back of the panel or just put it on the "frame" of the door? I just want to cover a relatively small area inside the door around the speaker to reduce the chance of "buzzing" and "rattling". Thanks for any advice.

Think of the material as a dampener that reduces vibration frequency. Then apply it on any surface which might vibrate. I'd surround the speaker with it, and maybe put some on the backside of the door panel on the plastic areas.

Good point. I was thinking of putting some just around the speaker, but I will add some to the back of the panel around that area too. Thanks!
