Default H/C Vig 3600 3.73 goes 12.4 at 108 HELP!

I have a full bolt on car. Headers, exhaust, ls6 intake, pulley. 224 cam and tsp prc 2.5 5.3 heads, along with the Vig 3600 and 3.73's. I also have lca's, relocation brackets, panhard bar, and bilstein shocks/struts.

Last year I had a slipping tranny, I went 12.2 at 112. I thought that was bad!

This year, I installed a built transmission, a nitrous plate kit, and a racetronix fuel pump. Went to the track last night and ran a 12.4 at 108. My 60' was 1.7. My car trapped 86 in the 1/8th. All NA.

Here is the slip from my 12.5 run:

60' 1.78 (worse than last year)
330' 5.14
1/8 et 7.97
1/8 mph 86.17
1000' et 10.44
1/4 et 12.51
1/4 mph 108.62

The car is hard to start at times. It will just turn over but not start. Like it is not getting fuel. I have a dyno tune, but I think someone may have done something to the computer and possibly did something. Not sure though.

Any help?

Also, for the nitrous I have a timing tuner. So there should full timing on NA runs.

You need to get that sucker tuned on the street. I found out the hard way that the dyno didn't put enough of a load on the motor and caused my car to go lean on the bottle resulting in a burned valve.

60' is the last thing id be worried about. MPH = rwhp and that is what he is lacking, bigtime. He should be 114-116mph but yet is only trapping 108.

Well 30th bud..he has multiple issues, not just MPH..You don't need a lot of power to pull a good 60'

yes but that could have been track prep, air pressure that you were running that night or maybe just how your launching that night. Be more concerned about that 7 mph that your missing over .1 with your 60'

I am. I am just saying that everything is worse, not just one or two things.

Do you have a tune, and have you logged it for knock retard? Too much advance will make it hard to start and could cause your lack of power as ell
