If you get the rockers and springs with it you there is a bit of power to be made. Most bolt on cars with the Lt4 Kit put down anywhere from 315rwhp-340rwhp...

I've always heard the LT4 knock module is a good thing to do. Its especially helpful when you put in long tubes, cam, or such. The LT1 motor has a knock sensor (should be on the pass side in the block) and then has this module (just a plug in chip on the front of the computer) that interprets the the sensors readings. The LT1 version is apparently more sensitive and therefore more likely to give you false knock when your running a modded setup vs. stock.

I dont believe I ever experienced any false knock with mine but, this is one of the first mods I did after installing long tubes. I dont 'really know' how effective this thing was but, for the small price I paid its a little piece of mind until I hear otherwise.
