repairing cylinder liners

repairing cylinder liners i got a free LS6. only thing wrong with it is that one of the pistons rings on cylinder #8 broke and put a scratch in the cylinder wall. i know GM dosn't recommened replacing the sleeves, but does anyone know of anyone who does? also what are some other fixes, can i bore the sleeves .010 over? thanks
