Question 2002 LS1 Wiring Harness Modifications

So far I have removed from the Blue PCM connector 23, 25, 28, 32, 65, and 68. From the Red PCM connector 4, 7, 13, 36, 37, 44, 53, 54, and 64. What other wires are no longer needed? Why remove Red 54 Fuel Level Sensor Signal, or Blue 70 Oil Level Switch Signal? Now to tackle the wiring harness of vehicle getting the transplant.

You won't need fuel level sensor or oil level wiring for a conversion car.

Default Wiring Harness Schematics

Thanks for your help. Now where in the service manual is there a definition/explanation of what the circuit does, or where can I find the circuit number and explanation? I know some are easy to identify, but some are not. On page 6-1412 Pin 2, Wire Color LT GRN, Circuit No. 1867, Function 12 Volt Reference. I want to know this to figure out which wires you knew to remove, if that makes any sense. By the way I forgot to add, my vehicle is a 1990 1/2 ton 2 wheel drive RCSB. It had a 5.7 TBI, now going to an LS1/4L60e.

If you're talking about the extra wires in the engine harness, look here
https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversions-swaps/936409-99-02-schematics.html Those are all the schematics for a 99-02 f-body LS1.

Broke a pin that goes into the connector. What is the fix action for this? Do they sell pins to repair it? Thanks for your help.

Are you planning on running cruise control with your car? I removed any of the wires that had anything to do with cruise control. The wires that went to the brake switch to turn it off etc. If you are planning on cruise, then I would just leave it in place.

Okay a couple of more questions. I plan on using the EVAP canister. Where does Red 45 go, or do I even need it? From there it goes to C230 C. Should I, or do I need to, get rid of Blue 23 Circuit # 720 Low Reference, it goes to C230 G? Thanks Art...
