Default 408 TB and intake questions

My friend has a 408 iron block engine LQ9 in his 1/2 chevy truck. He is now using his stock 4.8 liter intake and TB that came on the truck. He has 225 AFR's, nice rotating assembly with headers and a good flowing exhaust. I'm pretty sure he's leaving some on the table with the intake so he is in search of a better intake. His TB is a drive by wire as well.

We found him a FAST 92 with 90mm LS2 TB that are mated. It is a drive by wire TB. Does anybody know if this will be a "plug and play" swap or if he will have to have a harness made to make that LS2 TB work?

It should be plug and play.

Thanks. Any others have a guess at this. Going from a truck intake to a FAST car intake. Seems that the intake should bolt right on the AFR's no problem. But he is having a hard time finding a 90mm TB drive by wire. Will the LS2 plug in?

I'm not sure about the plugs being the same, but I think there is an issue putting a FAST manifold on trucks. I believe the alternator or something on the front accy drive hits the T.B. or manifold. Check out GMfullsize.com before you commit to that setup.
