I do have ported heads. Why would that make a difference?

What number loc-tite should i put on 262?

When heads are ported, the rocker arm bolts will protrude down into the intake ports, meaning its a passage oil could seep through and get into your combustion chamber. The locktite on the bolt will sorta act as a sealer for it.

I use whatever is in the red tube, the loctite fluid itself is blue.

lol there are many many different kinds of loc-tite in red containers. Some of the fludis are red and some are blue.

For sure if you have ported heads. If ya dont, its up to you. It won't hurt anything.

I used teflon thread sealant on mine with ported heads to seal the threads.
