Default disable air bag

do you have to disconnect the neg battery cable to disable the air bag? also is there any other steps?

yes thats what they say. i played it safe and disconnected both positive and negative just to be safe. better safe then sorry. your air bag light will prolly come on so youll have to pull your cluster and pop the bulb out.

why would the air bag light come on and i would have to pop the bulb out that somes like some back yard stuff there.

The light will be on because you disconnected the airbag
