Default Are TR6 plugs available in Platinums ?

Hi Guys

I'm too lazy and changing plugs on my Twin Turbo 408ci Setup is a pain in the **** .

I have to unbolt my Dump pipes in order to get to them !!

Are Tr6 plugs available in Platinuims from NGK ?

If I could get around 80,000 khms from a set it would suit me better .

I'm only running 16 psi using Garrett Gt3076s and 2 Tial 38mm gates.

The platinum and iridium plugs are just gimmicks IMO.

I'm using Tr6s now.

The only reason I want to go platinums is because they last longer then Tr6s before they need to be changed

Does anyone know what Tr6s are in a platinum version ?

You will blow the plat discs off the plat plugs in a FI app, I wouldn't use them...Just use TR6's and gap them a little tighter (.020) or so. The gap can spread a bit over time.

The reason you do not want to use Platinums is because they burn hotter by create hot spots at the electrodes and ground strap, Not good in FI applications .
