Default Gains in 1/8 mile ....ET's?

Would could i expect to see for a gain in the 1/8 mile when going from 2.73's to 3.73's. Or should I just do a stall??

Yes but not a whole lot. I would stall it before the gears. Bolt-on A4 cars are capable of low 12's, high 11's in the 1/4 with a stall. Gears alone will not get you there.

Since your unlucky and have the 2.73's I'd change the gears with the converter. Of course, tire diameter and all that other stuff comes into play as well. There are plenty of threads, and even stickies about this if I am correct. Good luck.

you need to get gears and a converter at the same time! your converter needs to match your gears! you should pick up quite a bit tho
