I don't know if I'd get a tranny from ebay. I'm sure lots of people have successfully, but I went with FLT. A proven company with great support. Why not get a 4l80e from a junkyard and go that way? I had current performance do my harness. It's been four years now and have NO complaints. The harness came with six or seven wires to hook up, all wires were labeled and made that part of the installation a breeze. Good luck with the choices you make.

Im wanting less expensive on the tranny end, and that ebay tranny looks to be a pretty darn good deal as i called them and talked to them. Current was looking like the best option but i might get my buddy to build me a tranny and the converter guys build the converter. This is gonna be more of a 70% Strip/ 30% street car. But thanks for info.

I just finished my LS stang project and used a guy on the east coast for my harness. It worked great! I paid under $400 for the harness with relays. I only had to add the fuse panel which was cheap anyway. You can have one added when they build it for cheap also, your choice. Shoot me a PM if interested in contact info. No regrets here.
For the cam I agree - 02 Z06 cam works great for turbo applications and can be had for cheap.
Transmission - I prefer the electronic shifting so I would say 4l60E(the harness will have the trans plug already wired as well). With a little money put into it the 4l60e oughtta last just fine in your mustang since it is light.
