Default 98 pcm turbo tuning

i have a 98 camaro and im putting a lq9 with a t76 what are some suggestions on tuning and what is involve in switching to a 99-02 pcm

thanks also im converting from m6 to a4 so i need a new harness so would it be posible to jus get a 99-02 harness and a computer

Sure you can do that.

HPTuners also has a 2-bar OS available for 98s, so it's not even a MUST to change computers and harness unless you will be running much higher than 15psi. Basically you just flash the PCM as an A4 and apply the 2bar upgrade.

If you do the PCM and harness swap, I believe you will still have some wiring issues interfacing to the instrument cluster.

so your saying im going to lose my cluster if i do that or its a possibility?

Not necessarily loose it, but there are some wiring aspects you'll need to sort out. The write up Doc posted should cover the details

the fuel gauge is fixed with a fuel segment swap but can only be done with efilive

Sorry for the 404. I didn't realize the EFI web group was working on the db; Been jamn' on Sevendust and tuning all day. The instrument cluster issue is centered around the fuel gage indicating correctly, nothing more. With EFI Live you, the end user can remedy this.

Doc, on your page, it was for a 'vette right? Didn't the 'vette already have a serial data line feeding the cluster in '98, while the f-body was still individual analog lines in '98?
