drivetrain clunk?

drivetrain clunk? when i shift into a gear i get a clunk in my drivetrain, when im accelerating and let off the gas i get it to... my car is in my sig, any ideas? i did a search and couldnt find much, maybe i searched for the wrong thing?

I dont know if the 84 trans ams have a front diff mount like the FC rx7's do, but if so, that sounds to be your problem. Sounds like the front of the diff hitting the floor board upon accelleration. get that fixed...SOON!
