Default drivetrain clunk?

when i shift into a gear i get a clunk in my drivetrain, when im accelerating and let off the gas i get it to... my car is in my sig, any ideas? i did a search and couldnt find much, maybe i searched for the wrong thing?

Sounds like a tranny mount or a motor mount is broken.

I dont know if the 84 trans ams have a front diff mount like the FC rx7's do, but if so, that sounds to be your problem. Sounds like the front of the diff hitting the floor board upon accelleration. get that fixed...SOON!
