Default HP tuner guys come on in!

Im swapping the 5.3 into a foxbody and im buying a th400 with t-brake and what not, my question is how do you connect ur laptop to the ecu/pcm? do i need the obd2 scan port or whatever its called? Thanks Chris

Just go to the junkyard and cut one out of a car there. Any late model, 96 or newer should have an OBDII port. I took one out of a wrecked 05 pickup truck and one out of another wrecked Malibu. The guy at the counter just waved at me when I showed him what I had in my hands. I like free stuff. I cut about 1 foot of wire with the plugs because it was easy to get.

it doesnt need to even be out of a GM. youll just have to repin it. all the obd2 plugs are the same, just different wire locations.

even fords have the same plug.
