Default 2004 GTO with 408 and D-1SC

Hey guys just posting my dyno chart see what you think of it.
Details 2004 Auto GTO with 3200 torque converter -- 408 Iron block with a D-1SC Procharger at 11psi. 245 ETP heads/ Comp Cam 236/248 .617/.617 115 LSA. SLP 1 3/4" longtube headers.

not real happy with the numbers as most guys here with there camaros or trans ams with similiar setups are in the 700+ range. But still working on issues, like how to make more boost. So any thoughts.

Get a F-1 if you want more.
I would be happy with those #'s you got though. If I was making that much I would start to concentrate on the rest of the car. That's enough power to run low 10's to high 9's if you can put it down and go down the track. I don't know what you have done to your car but that's what I would be after. Damn nice #'s though. Congrats.

as soon as I have money for the f-1 thats whats next. as far as other stuff done, I have the pedders strip II suspension in the car, which concest of drag springs, shocks and a bunch of little bushing for the front and rear. But the car still has the stock irs rear end and weighs about 3800lbs so my goal is mid to high 10s with it.

if those numbers were SAE they would have probably been higher considering the high heat and low pressure... Awesome numbers

It all depends, I think the headers on a supercharge set up shows lower boost but make more power. Rember boost is a mesure of restriction. that will show its flowing better. But its worth when you want to run more boost, more midrange and topend. I guess to answer your question is 20hp or so?

cool not sure if I am going to get some right now. Some nice 1 7/8 kooks for my car would be around $1300.

Impressive numbers.
But like states above i would get some 1 7/8" headers.
I really like the 245 ETP heads on the build... ETP and never look back!

1 7/8 could give you 20rwhp. I also love the ET 245`s on a 408. I have them, lol! You could add another 35-45 rwhp if it was a 6sp. Remember A4 eat alot of power up at the wheels. That would put you at the 700rwhp number your talking about! Nice set-up!

Luis, those numbers are good for what is on the car. But, I believe you need to focus more on putting that power to the ground and getting the most out of your car instead of adding more power. When you had 600rwhp you only ran an 11.44 @ 120 with a 1.7 60ft correct? This is not where the car should be and I believe you know that- but simply adding more power isnt necessarily the solution, as the vehicle will still be out of its proper index. (btw-i do know the DA at lvms, as I ran 11.5 @ 118 with my H/C TA with a whopping 420 rwhp a few weeks after you ran your time)

I think you have a sick car that has hit many speedbumps along the way, but dont get discouraged-things will work out. i just wouldnt keep changing things like heads, blower units, cam, etc until you really have the car dialed in as it just creates more variables to the causes of your issues. Good luck.

Daniel

Thanks man, Yeah I see were your coming from man. it was 550rwhp though, still it should have done way better than 11.4x. Anyway i got springs/shock and a drag wheels for the front and rear. we'll see how it does next time out. I have to wait tell fall though since it like 115+ out here right now.

Bigger headers would help. But 660 RWHP in a stalled automatic is plenty of power!

You want hp #'s? Put a lockup switch in and lock the converter,it will make alot more hp for the dyno.

Very nice numbers! Few more tweaks and you'll get your numbers! The F1 should give a monster jump in power.
