thanks for your suspicious smilie. have other things to buy as well. as you know from other threads i popped the head gaskets on the motor. along with that, i found a crack in the #7 exhaust port today. this necessitates me buying new heads now. for now, i'll run the stock stuff, until i can get the vic jr, and all the other supporting components to convert over. here's pic of the wonderful crack. hate to be thought of as a suspicious character.

i may even go L92 heads. GMPP makes a carb intake for those heads as well.

I was trying to find a scratching head smilie, that was the closest I could find, haha!!! Um dude, if I might give you a little advice, stay away from the vic jr, i've heard nothing but bad things about it from everyone I know that's used it and have seen quite a few cars go slower with it than they did with a fast 90, if ur gonna go carb style get the GMPP and make sure you have it port matched to ur heads.

understood on the smilie. i've read about some of the results with the vic jr taking some off the low only to be able to extend rpm range well above 6500 rpms. so, i've been tossing it around. i'll look into the GMPP intake as well. i'm comparing the pricing on going L92 stuff. if i go L92, i have to do it all at once.

I just put a gmpp on my car with an accufab 4150 tb and it's nice all around (peaked torque at 453 @ 4000 rpm and peaked hp at 475 @ 7000 rpm and this was on a mustang dyno)!!! But really shines up top and is acting the way it should now with as big of a cam as I have, before it was peaking at around 6000 or something like that and was falling off hard at 6400 with the fast 90, now it's peaking at 7000 and pulling all the way to 7500 and only falling off a couple hp.

ive heard the elbow is what kills most of the carbs performance. When i looked into it a bit more, i saw a bunch of the fast guys running the accufabs and they seemed to work very well for those setups. GL robert
