94 T/A M-6 Running very rich and stalls when moved.
Could use some help on my brothers 94 T/A M6 with a big issue. The car started missing and losing power so I immediatly went to the plugs and they were all black (I replaced them with no change) so its running extremely rich. No apparent wire problems as they all looked good. The car starts up cold and idles OK but when you put it in gear it stalls out and wont move. The exhaust is black rich the whole time. when it gets alittle warm, then it wont start unless you floor it and you when it does start, you have to rev it between 3000-4000 rpms until it clears up so it will idle again. I am an LS1 man and dont really know much about the opti spark deal execpt they give alot of problems so wondering if that could be it. Sure seems to be a really rich condition to me, well I know its really rich and wondering what could be the cause. No codes of any sort which is strange as bad as it runs. Anyone had any problems of this sort know of a way to test the opti, MAF, etc. It does have 160,000 miles so I will check the cat first off to be sure but any other help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You replaced the wires already, now I would check the wires, then the coil, then the opti, then the ICM.
Also clean the MAF and check the intake elbow for any cracks or tears.
