Look into the vengeance racing "vindicator" cam. There have been some cars on here lately running good times and making really good hp with this cam. P.S If you post this in the internal section you may get more help on this topic

Contact Predator-Z and give him your whole setup and goals and he will spec you a custom. Mine has XFI intake and XE-R exhaust lobes.

Agreed.

And just for you & your friends information, you don't need the newest cam to run very strong numbers at the track. Don't get caught up in the big dyno numbers & donkey dick cams like so many have.

There are ALOT of older grinds out there that perform great & are track proven. Just because it's not the latest & greatest doesn't mean it's not a good choice.

I love my 224 cam & expect it to carry my car into the 11's with my cheap stock worked over 5.3 heads.

If you wanna build a solid combo get on here, RESEARCH for a while & read up on different combos. Everyone is gonna have their own opinion on H/C selection. Your best bet is to set a goal for the car & then build to combo around that goal. don't just mix & match parts because they are the newest version from the vendors.

Patrick G specced out my cam, i couldn't be happier with it. I asked for a torque cam that didn't need to rev to the moon to operate, but had a bad a$$ idle to it...you can see my sig for the result! In an M6 this would have been an easy 400rwhp setup and probably just as much torque.

I spec cams out for free and then if you want it I offer them from Comp Cams for $370
The cams are speced by Erik of HKE. All anyone need to do is pm me with their email and I'll send you a form to fill out. SImple as that. No money required, no commitment.

Last cam speced was a 238/242 112 +3 with XER lobes and .605 .610 on the lift, no fly cutting with stock ls6 head

This was for a 346cid not a daily driver looking for a power band of 2700 rpms to 7000 and will have 3.90 gears.

There isn't one. With so many people selling cams, there's gonna be some that are the same from separate vendors. Take the 224/224 cut on a 112 with just enough lift to be safe on the old 918's for example. Nothing wrong with that cam, but I really don't think it takes somebody copying another to come up with that idea.
A long time ago somebody invented the round wheel. It worked well. Are all the rest of us copycats simply because we don't use square wheels??

For the OP. I'd say go with a custom grind. Just make sure you don't have something ground that's like anybody elses cam or your name will have to be added to that list.
