Default Chicago: tireshop to mount 18" tires?

anyone know a tire shop that has the proper equipment to mount tires of this size?

Preferably in the north side and w/ an alignment rack?

Most of your bigger shops will have the proper equip to mount 18s. If I am not mistaken almost all tire shop machines max out at 18...

Once you go bigger than that is where you will run into problems, and have to find custom shops.

It may be a bit of a drive for you... But I recommend going to Pomp's Tires It was named "Ozzie's" before Pomp's bought them out. It's just a Drive down southbound I-55 to eastbound I-80 for about 5 - 10 minutes.

I am mentioning this place because I used to work there and Bill the alignment guy is certified and can align just about Everything.... Cars, Trucks, Customs, Semi's .... etc.

He is so good that people make appointments in advance. I'd recommend calling him and setting something up. You will not be disappointed.

Pomp's tire service
10 Meadow Av.
Rockdale, IL 60436

Toll free: (815) 741-1182 ****ASK for Bill.

Didnt see you wanted an alignment as well.. If your in chicago, then I dunno, but midwest automotive in Des Plaines has a really good alignment guy, does high performance/drag alignments.. Dunno about the tires though.

in all honesty - check out a Dodge/Chrysler dealer, the shop that my buddy works at HAD to get a new tire machine because of the 20's on some of the older dodge rams.

My name is Chris and I am a manager at Discount Tire Co. in Orland Park. We have the equipment to mount anything. We do all the way to 24s and even some 26s. All my buddys come in as well and get their slicks and skinnies mounted up too. We are all car guys at the shop so we are not going to **** your stuff up. We dont do alignments but I can refer you to a good shop. If you are interested give me a call at work: 708-460-7610 and ask for Chris. PM me if you want to get my cell number.
