Well the tape I basically just pushed it off with my thumb. I ended up getting a blister for each side (one on each thumb) but I don't think there's really a better way. It was worth it though. Oh and the goop came off with WD-40. I worried about using it on the paint so I checked out several forums before I did it before I did it myself. It worked great, no problems with the paint at all.

I'm hoping the car will look as good as I hope it does... I don't get a second chance....
Checked out my car after lunch, took a little of the side molding back and I didn't see any paint matching issues so I'll give it a go.

Looking at your sig picture, under your mirror, not the door but the little sectional panel in front of that......you have the issue as me.
The panel looks like it is sticking out a little too far in comparison with the door. Look at the picture blown up.
There is a tab underneath that panel, you can tap it with a hammer and make it aling flush with the door.
Just another free apperance mod so those **** people wont point it out.

Has anyone done this on a TA and taken pics? I just went out and looked at mine, and I think it would make it look a lot better.

One thing you need to make sure of is that the car hasn't been repainted. I doubt most of you have had your cars repainted but if it has been -- you should check to see if the bodyshop removed the moldings and put new ones on when they painted. if not there will be an outline....
also ... to loosen the tape up and help get the moldings off .. use a hairdryer .. heat the molding up .. and then pull it off .. it makes things easier.
looks GREAT on a t/a....

Hairdryer to heat it up, then use the dental floss technique to loosen it up even more, then you wont be blister boy . And using Goo Gone or something like that will get all the leftover residue off
