Default Drive-by-wire, drive-by-cable, combined

Here's one way to keep the DBW and not have to do any under-dash fabrication--put the DBW actuator under the hood and operate it with the existing throttle cable.

I mounted the actuator on the passenger inner fender, made a bolt-on bracket at the coil packs and extended the throttle cable with a small rod end and some rod threaded on each end.

I cut the wires from the cabin connector and extended the harness over to the actuator.

Very clever. This might be a good approach for someone using a transmission with TV cable.
