the first few passes it was looking like a 7.4x if it was clean Tom! what ended up happening with the car friday?

It was on a mission for sure. The incremental data I did get from the passes had it quicker than the 7.5 passes. Next time i guess.

Had sticking throttle issues on the first qualifier, luckily it was sticking shut. Still good enough for a 7.8 and the #2 spot on the ladder.

Second qualifier hit some uncharted areas in the tune up and Tom smartly lifted.

3rd qualifier netted a failed trans.

We managed to swap transmissions and rebuild the converter only to be turned away at the lanes for 1st round. So the beer drinking began.

I'm still amazed at what these tires will take. I think we had a best 60' of 1.23 on the day, I don't think a sub 1.2 is out of the question as we get more passes on the car.
