Default Problem removing C-Clips

I've got a Torsen diff in a '99 Camaro, and am trying to get the axles out for a gear swap, but I can't seem to get the axles pushed in far enough to get the c-clips to come out.

I've removed the calipers, taken the block out of the center, and then the axles are willing to slide in about 1/2" but even with that, and having someone pushing in on the axle at the same time, only about half of the clip is exposed.

Whats the trick to this, any suggestions???

Thanks

If it has traction control you will need to take off the sensors at the brake backing plate. That will allow the axles to push in far enough.

I couldn't get mine out either, and yes it was the sensors. Good luck!
