Default Alternator Rebuild

Well I finally get my car up and running but the alternator is whining very bad, either needs a rebuild or replacement.

Anyone ever rebuild one of these? Its a stock 145amp truck unit out of an 05 2500HD. Charges perfectly fine but sounds horrible. Im guessing either the front and/or rear bearing is toast from sitting for a year or two.

Anyone know a place I can orer them from? Autozone wants $190 for a reman unit, which is a lot more then I want (and really have) to spend.
