i just want somein that will wake my car up some.. its a M6 and im runnin bout a 26 in tire..

will 373 b worth it? or 390 or 410

All ratios above a 3.42:1 will 'wake' a car up.They will also be weaker. The OEM 2.73s',3.23s', & 3.42s' are the strongest. You could probably find some aftermarket gears that are stronger than the OEMs',but you'd still be dealing with the inadequate 7.5/7.625 10 bolt.

If you don't want to lose strength.....leave it alone. If you ever swap to a 12-bolt, 9", or S60 go straight to the 4.11's. Just installed that gear set and no issues on my M6 driving.

3:42's to 3:73's isnt much more than a nicer response,,you'll feel it, but barely,,,3:42's to 4:11's you will notice. alot.

With no sticky tires and no hard launches your 10 bolt should be fine. How much HP do you have or plan to have?

My recommendation would be 3.73s--gives you noticeable improvement but still very reliable under the conditions you describe.

4.10's are a perfect match IMO for a M-6 car.
Your gonna have to take a chance, it can go either way. seen people have no problem at all & others break them on the street.Like stated before the problem is the 10 bolt. But if your gonna do it do it up right.

I went from 3.42's to 4:10's and haven't had any problems with the rear end. I also have nitto drag radials on the rear. I've had some fun with the car but I don't abuse it...just thrash her when needed! I bought my OEM quality gears from new era and had a buddy install them for about 200 bucks. You'll also need to get your PCM updated to reflect the new gearing.
