Default How much power is my fuel set-up good for?

I have dual inline walbro 255s set-up with a hobb switch and a pressure regulator with a return to the tank. I also have 60lb injectors. I plan to use race gas only. When I bought the system I was told it should be good to 950rwhp but I'm not sure if that's on pump gas or race gas or if that even matters. I'm thinking I might be making a little more power than I originally planned and would hate to be short on gass. With race gas, whould my set-up be enough to get me to around 1100-1200rwhp? The 60lb injectors are my main concern. Does anyone know how much power they are good for when running race gas?

use my fuel and injector sticky, those 60# injectors are actually 69lb injectors at 58psi, SO, they will support up to 850BHP

if you are looking at making 1100HP.. I would get bigger injectors

The 2 inline pumps could potentially make 1100 max but 1200 is pushing it. I would rec. a big single inline pump to keep up with your power needs. You will need an injector driver and some very large injectors as ZL1killa mentioned.

Is it not a good idea to just add a third pump thats wired in with the pump thats boost activated? That way I'm only running one pump under light load and then when I get into boost the other two would kick on to keep the pressure up. It would be an easier/cheaper route than redoing the whole fuel system.

Also, are there any injectors out there that are larger but don't require any other changes? Like just take out the 60s and put in the new ones.

You really need a very stout fuel system for your HP goals just throwing more Walbro's at it really makes for a problematic fuel system. You have a chance of any one of those pumps crapping out at any time and how would you know till it is too late? you are going to need some large fuel line and "Y"ing in all those pumps can create its own issues one has a bad check valve(very common in the Walbro) all your pressure is going back to the tank. I would rec. a big single pump and a very solid fuel system to go along with it. There are no high imp. inj. that will fill your needs. 60# are about as big as they get they do make 79#ers but you will need in the neighborhood of 120#ers. Give me a call I will help you setup a safe quality system to suit your needs.
