Default rearend leaking

i had a moser 12 bolt put in but theres a brass nipple sticking out the top of the axle tube on the drivers side, now it's shooting oil straight up and on the bottom of the car, anyone know what this nipple is for and can i just plug it.

believe it is a breather.......on mine I just have a hose hooked up to it and ran it up along the fuel lines and zip tied it

thats why i didn't plug it already, thanks, did you clamp the hose on the nipple or not?

Yes, that is a breather and you need to add approx two ft of tubing to it. We tie it off up on the gas tank strap.
