Default Disconnected MAF ???

I disconnected my MAF(SLP brand) to change my rubber hose between procharger box deal and TB. Since I reconnected it my car wont hold idle and dies out every once and a while. My question is > can I change the a MAF back to the stock factory one with out hurting mail order tune? Any feed back would be nice. thanks

I would bet there is some type of vacuum leak. They will just about always set some type of lean code. Especially if you have codes on both banks. Check to make sure your bellows on right, sounds like it is not sealed all the way around.
