If you're buying a lid anyway, I'd go ahead and get the 85mm one from Fast Toys.

We'll second the FTP lid

We don't recommend the smooth bellows with our lid though because it tends to lift up the back of the lid and cause problems with the hood hitting. Stick with your stock bellows. It works well

FTP 85mm lid is very nice. Fit and finish is much better than my older clear lid.

I think it was Fast Toys that posted this somewhere and I saved it.

What people refer to as an 85mm MAF actually is larger than 85mm. The OD is actually 96mm and the ID is 90mm. For the MAF to slide inside our lid, the ID of the lid is 98mm.

A stock sized MAF has an OD of 88mm and in ID of 74mm.

That makes the ID of our (Fast Toys) lid about 9-10mm bigger than other aftermarket lids. Since area is pie R squared, the area of the exit on our new lid is about 20% larger that what is currently available from other manufacturers.
