Default MTI X1 cam only dyno

Got the car dyno tuned on a Dyno Jet today. Will post graphs when the tuner emails them to me.

this is with a Vig 3600 and a 230/227 MTI X1 cam! Not too bad, huh? Check for mods in sig...

i am assuming by cam only that nothing inside the engine has been touched...but if you put in a decent cam then you would have to upgrade some things...best of luck to you

Cam only meaning the cam is the only thing swapped out internally. The rest are bolt ons like headers, intake, exhuast, etc. Common cam swap items include the oil pump, valve springs, cam, timing chain, pushrods, and gaskets. Thanks-

I'm using Patriot Golds. Not really sure when I'm taking it to the track. I need some MT's for my stock 16's first! Thanks for sellin the cam.

Did I mention that it's a '98...

I could have maaaybe hit 400 with a cut out. Cam-only '98 6 speeds can hit 400 no prob if mine is @ 395. But, that SLP LM1 flows pretty well.

Good numbers. I had that cam in my stock block with old S2 heads and loved it. Even sprayed a 100 wet shot to boot. Great cam to run!

I said I wouldn't install heads, but I'm considering TEA 1.5's. Still can decide on the 'ol 5.3 vs. 2.5 LS6 head...
if MTI is still in the game I can see what they sell their 2E or whatever its called. JaSSon seems to be ripping with his TEA's.
