Default Procharger pinning kit with Eagle crank??

Can you pin the Eagle crank? I have heard that the Eagle cranks are so hard of a metal that alot of times the drill bit will not work. Just curious to how true this is. If it is true could a machine shop use something to pin the crank? Thanks for the help.

You can do it in the car, you just have to apply a lot of pressure. Using Tapfree lubricant will help to keep the drillbit from immediately dulling on you. Bob

Solid cobalt drill bit, and it will drill as easy as any normal steel.

try it with a typical HSS bit, and you'll be trying forever.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the fast response. Bob, I will eventually be getting with you for a d1 or f1 just hanging out to see what this economy thing is doing. Had 70 guys laid off at work 3 weeks ago so I am being conservative at the moment.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Seeing 70 people get laid off would have me cautious as well. Bob
