What fuel pressure...
are some of you running on a bolt-on LT1, i seemed to be getting better throttle responce at or around 45 psi, 54 psi. with regulator disconnected, is this too high for just bolt-ons? I lowered it to 39 & 48, but the throttle responce is weak when warm, just wanting things dialed in as close as possible for this friday. I here of some running as high as 56-58 psi.

When I had my 1996 Z28 6 speed, I ran the LT4 hotcam with comp cam springs because the springs with the kit suck and 1.6 crane gold roller and if memory serves me the stock fuel is 39psi at idle but I ran my fuel pressure at 42psi and the stock fuel pump in the tank and the NOS external mount pump that comes with there dry kit. I had SLP headers, MSD 6AL box with MSD coil, March pulleys, SLP cold air induction, 52 mm Eldibrock throttle body, AFR 195 heads, Spec Clutch, ect. Car ran a little better with a lttle more fuel pressure but I had stock injectors. Cafr ran 12.46 in the 1/4 mile at 110mph. Good Luck with it.
