Not a regular, but I tried putting some power to the track and got loose mid track. I'm on a 10' tire though. I personally wouldn't try running a number there. The people were super friendly but it needs more track prep!!

Thanks for reply. Not looking for track info, if we go, we know what we're in for.
Looking for info about another issue with guys in my class, T/S- Adv ET.

You got a clutch? If so soften it up. He usually only sprays to the 1/8...So it may get out of the hole but as soon as you get passed the 1/8 onto the asphalt you'll probably have issues.

Is this an actual t/s race you're attending or a t&t? Cause they may actually try to prep if they're running a whole 6-7 second race.

Thanks for reply boosted.
Might throw a 7.20-7.50 combo together for their special race coming up. Nobody showed up at the 1st one.
Have some time to kill, so just trying to help. Like I said, I know what to expect with the track.
Heard some stuff second hand & nobody I know with a fast car will go there. So I wanted to talk privately
with guys in my class that went out this year. Not looking for any tuning info. Will run very very soft if we go.
My car doesn't even move around on ice at 7.50, so I should be ok.

The fast guys don't show because Denny is rude and doesn't like to listen to the racers when they are telling him the track is unsafe (ie. bald spots, oil on the track, etc) He would rather just take their money, neglect the track, and blame it on the cars when they get shitty half track. If you value your car and/or life, I would go to 66. There was a thread on Chitown just last week about this.

Last year a friend had to jump over the wall and stop a car from staging because the previous car let out a ton of smoke and looked like it dumped oil after the 1320. He tried telling Denny and it was just shrugged off...So he stopped the car himself.

But holy ****, stand behind the wall by the burnout box to get a good camera view of our car making it's first pass of the year, and they're coming at you from all directions.
