Default Timing question for the juice NooB

Ok, I am going to be putting a wet kit on my car here before too long and will be spraying between 75 and 125. I have a WOT switch and a window switch to go with it. I haven't got a FPSS but I will before install. I was wondering if that MSD adjustable timing control box will work without having a 6AL or something similar? I know go down a heat range on the plugs and pull some timing, will that box do what I want it to do?

I think many of the sponsors sell a timing controller for the LS1. Check Nitro Daves.

Not sure which box u mean, but I have MSD's Timing Twister and so far, I love it. Little expensive but works. Fairly easy install.

I was talking about the p/n# 8680. We used to use it on a 383 we had in our rock crawler but for a different purpose and we had the 6al box. I was just wondering if that would work well for what I want. You know leave it at stock when off the bottle and when on spray I just turn the **** back a few degrees?
