Default Anyone using a powertrax locker or know of

Been noticing that I when I floor it the car is leaving two black marks for a few feet then Just one mark from there on, no matter what kind of road I am on. I did a gear swap recently and know that I have and auburn diff, which is supposed to be a pain on the rebuild if you can find the parts. What I am really looking at is the powertrax locker, I like that it goes into the original carrier and does not affect the ring gear settings, I had a time setting my rear up and dont want to jack with the shims again.

So does anyone have it, does it work well, any ideas of how long it will last. Surely it is better than the auburn thats in there.
gimme your input if you have any thanks.

The powertrax units only work in open differentials, so it won't work with your rear unless you find a non-posi carrier. Anyway, I've got one in my daily driver (4000lbs, 450hp/450tq, 4 speed) and it works just fine.
