Default track day for the 408

let me start out by saying my car has ran like **** since its been tuned so i pulled the plugs and changed them, completly fouled and man this car has even more ***** now

with that being said its my first time with my setup at the track with out my damn linelock done i was just going for a baseline

but i had mt et streets tried heaten them up the best i could

the track is lapeer dragway as well --shithole with dirtpits

i got 4 runs in before it started raining

launched at 3k wheel spin like a **** even at half throttle tried at 2500 still the same thing

shifting at 6 k rpms and im shifting with a piece of **** t-handle and was granny shifting cause it sucks, going back to a ball or something

best slip
60ft 2.335
1/8th 8.455
mph 99.73
1/4 12.533
mph 121.54

i still got alot of work to do on the car but im not mad at all for my first time with my new setup and spinning the tires like whoa

def going to get some real slicks

The mph is there to run low 11's if not 10's. It takes awhile to get it all dialed in. Yep, looks like most of yours is in the 60'. Need to get that down.

good to hear that, i plan on trying a 4in exhuast instead of a dumped 3in and trying to work with the qa1 settings in the front to get things better, and of course try to get to a better track but this one is only 30mins away compared to 2 1/2 hr drive to a nice one

heres a video im waiting for the other one to finish loading

it spins off the line and i feather it until 2nd so it doesnt spin, i was haven a hard time getting the burnout to go longer then it was cause it kept walking sideways
oh a the t-handle keeps hitting my consol so its whooom 1-3secs shift lol

Oh man Russ looks like it was your first time at the strip ever lol that sucks I bet they didn't even prep that dirt hole. I probably should have gone so I could whoop your *** while I can No worries with all that suspension and those tires I'm really surprised you spun that much though but no have faith that car will be a beast with some HOOK.

Car looks like its laying over on the big end when looking at your 1/8th mph versus your 1/4 mph. You should log a pass and see if your getting KR in 4th.

actually I find there 1/8 mph to be wayyy off. I have a H/C car and it said I trapped 98mph in the 1/8th I laughed but my 1/4 times were right on.
